This model, known in international circles as Cuff, fits Iike a protective collar around wall of the hoof and the sole. The steel or aluminium horseshoe that governs the shape can be renewed at any time during the shoeing period without having to remove the glued-on shoe and damaging the horny box (capsula ungulae). Due to the fact that you can also screw in caulks or inserts to prevent snowballing, the Cuff provides unrestricted versatility for riding and driving. Is also possible to use any commonly available „plastic shoe“ instead of the profile shoe.
